These solid Wood lasts are from prominent Shoe makers Hook Knowles and co, New Bond Street, London who made shoes by Royal Appointment to the HRH Queen Victoria and HRH The Princess of Wales as well as Winston Churchill. They were unrivalled in their quality and Ladies from all around the world travelled to London to purchase their footwear in the late 19th and early 20th Century.
The V&A Museum hold a substantial collection of their shoes, which makes these lasts an interesting addition to any collector.
